As a guy that enjoys being active and pushing my physical abilities, I consistently find myself banged up, bruised, sore and having minor injuries. After putting off seeing a PT for far too long, I discovered Dr. Zanis. Our initial evaluation showed a number of imbalances and opportunities to avoid these minor issues with consistent work and maintenance going forward. Matt took the time to understand my goals, MY physiology, and design a plan not only to fix my issues, but to keep me healthy and balanced. Often times, the “issue” is not the cause. Matt is a genius when it comes to figuring out the cause, no matter what the “injury” may be. From there, he took the time to teach me about the causes and effects. Not just fixing my issue, by offering the next level of PT, “prehab.” Since then, I’ve had no back issues and see him regularly for maintenance. For major injuries, he is also the only PT I would refer anyone to. I recently had a major shoulder surgery (labrum, rotator cuff, and several other clean up items). My Ortho knows Matt and recommended I see him as often as possible post-op. With Matt’s knowledge and experience, I’m a full 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule in my recovery process according to my Ortho. Matt designed an entire rehab protocol for me to work on daily between visits. My Ortho is “amazed” at how quickly I’m regaining mobility, flexibility, and strength. Between a great Ortho and an even better PT, I’m on the road to a full recovery. In my opinion, Dr. Zanis is the one of the top PTs in the country.
